The Ornamental Cuckoo Clock is known for their simple, modern construction, finished with vibrant colours and intricate pattern designs. Rombach and Haas designed these clocks to tie in several qualities of the classical black forest cuckoo clocks, such as the animated cuckoo bird, the nature themes designs, however displayed in a more contemporary style with simple structures and bold colours.
